Located just 15 minutes from Cartagena, on one of the most privileged beaches of Tierra Bomba Island, is this beach club surrounded by native nature and the sublime sound of the sea.
The essence of Makani lies in its surroundings, where nature is always the protagonist, and where its guests surrender to the sun and sea every afternoon. The architecture is embedded in the local context, respecting tradition and embracing the essence of life by creating a feeling of warmth and authentic luxury.
The open view between the gardens, the sea and each of the spaces strengthens the connection and interaction between the interior and exterior design. Through the use of natural, organic materials and refinement in detail, combined with the craftsmanship of local and Colombian experts, a calm and serene environment was created that blends perfectly with the surroundings.
“This project was a shared process that sought to perfectly create a calm, protective and inspiring atmosphere that reflected tranquility, warmth, light, and captured the beauty in the interaction of all these elements.”
